So, this is a great idea.  Having a meal or just coffee and a snack from a floating cafe.  Something that we can do here in Minnesota being that we have so many lakes to choose from, but this one happens to be on Lake Koronis near Paynesville, Minnesota.

Every year, this floating cafe sets sail around the lake bringing diners great food, coffee, smoothies, etc at various spots around the lake. They usually announce where they are going to be on their social pages so people know where to get their food boat fix.

So far for this season, they have not announced their menu, and/or service times.  Their Facebook page, updated on the 14th,  just says that they will be posting that information soon.  But in past years, the hours have been on the weekends.  Saturday and Sunday from  noon until 7pm.  Those hours are subject to change, depending on the wind and weather, but you can also book private events, just like booking a food truck.

You can pull up to the cafe wherever it is via boat, kayak, paddle board, or whatever floating device you have.  Or, sometimes they will just camp out somewhere popular on a hot day like Vans Beach.  Which is the popular public beach on Lake Koronis.

Keep watching their Facebook page for announcements on where they will be from week to week.  Hours and location are subject to change from week to week, so their Facebook page is a great place to keep track of that information.

What a great concept, essentially a food truck on the water, so a food boat.  Every lake should have one of these.
