ST. CLOUD -- Central Minnesota Habitat For Humanity celebrated the completion of their 77th home during a dedication ceremony in St. Cloud Thursday night.

The non-profit organization has been helping families in need receive housing throughout Central Minnesota for about 24 years.

Last night the organization held a welcome home ceremony for the Zotter family who plans to officially move into the home tomorrow.

Executive Director, Bruce Johnson says Habitat For Humanity helps families manage their debt prior to moving in.

Some of the funding for the property was given to the organization through an HRA Community Development Block Grant. The organization also gets donations from local businesses.

More than 750 volunteers work about 10,000 hours each year to provide families the opportunity to own their own home.

The organization says they could be helping about nine families become homeowners this year.
