GREAT Theatre To Kick Off 20th Season With ‘Singin in the Rain’ [VIDEO]

WAITE PARK -- A breakfast was held Friday for over 200 GREAT Theatre supporters for a special announcement.

The gathering was held inside Macy's, who have sponsored GREAT Theatre since the beginning. Store Manager Nancy Dorle says they're honored to support the arts in the community.

"GREAT Theatre is important to the St. Cloud community and has a special place in the heart of our employees," says Dorle.

The day included laughter, an auction, and the lineup announcement for their 20th Anniversary Season.

"We're going to open the season with one of my favorites, Singin' in the Rain," says Dennis Whipple.

The 20th Anniversary lineup will include 5 performances at the Paramount Theatre and 2 at their new Helgeson Learning Lab Theater, which will be constructed this year.

The 2017-18 lineup includes:
- Singin' in the Rain - September 8th-24th
- Junine B. Jones Is Not A Crook - October 20th-29th
- It's A Wonderful Life - November 17th-December 3rd
- Anne of Green Gables - February 2nd-11th
- Disney's Beauty and the Beast - April 6th-22nd
- Nine Who Dared: Courage At Little Rock - January 12th-21st (Learning Lab)
- Clue: The Musical - April 27th-May 20th (Learning Lab)
