ST. CLOUD -- You can enjoy a heart-warming performance about a spunky red-headed girl taking center stage at the Paramount Theatre this weekend.

Anne of Green Gables is about an orphan girl who has a knack for getting into trouble, as well as capturing the hearts of those around her.

Daylin Paulson plays the lead role of Anne. She says it's fun to be a part of a familiar story.

"I think a lot of people have grown up with the Anne of Green Gables story, either watching the movie or reading the books. I think the show is faithful to the books."

Patricia Soltis plays the role of Rachel, the town news monger. She says there was a few reasons she audition for the show.

"One of the reasons was Daylin auditioning, I really wanted to do a show with her. I also really love working with Great Theatre, they are a wonderful theatre company to work for."

Tickets for the show are $18 for students and $28 for adults. GREAT Theatre's performance of Anne of Green Gables runs through February 11th.
