Gopher Women’s Basketball Tops Creighton

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Creighton 88-81 in double overtime Sunday.  Rachel Banham led the Gophers with 39 points and Micaella Riche added 23 points and 10 rebounds for Minnesota.  The Gophers shot 45 percent while Creighton shot 47 percent.

Minnesota is 11-3 and will open the Big Ten schedule Thursday night at 6pm at Michigan State.
