Glen Allen Eidsness, age 59, Sartell, MN died Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.

Glen was born April 8, 1957 in Minneapolis, MN to Harry O. and Ruth C. (Lee) Eidsness. He served in the United States Navy from 1977 to 1981 as an Intelligence Specialist. Glen liked working and building things with his hands. He also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, snowmobiling, TV shows and was a great story teller. Glen especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Their favorite pastime was baking cakes and cupcakes. A generous man, Glen was always willing to offer a helping hand and advice when needed.

Survivors include sons, Jason (Kayla) Eidsness of Sartell, MN; and Justin (Emily) Eidsness of St. Cloud, MN; sister, Trudy Gardner of Farmington, MN; and three grandchildren, Bailey Schwartz, Cora Eidsness and Oliver Eidsness.
