ST. CLOUD -- A few St. Cloud residents were without power for a short time this morning (Tuesday) after reports of a garbage truck knocking down a power pole.

The incident happened just before 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Ramsey Place and 3rd Avenue South.

Police say a privately owned garbage truck had been going through the area and in passing caught some utility wires with the top of the truck, which led to the pole breaking.

The intersection was closed while Excel Energy rerouted the power and put a new power pole in place.

No one was hurt in the incident.
