ST. MICHAEL -- Four people have been arrested after fleeing from officers in a stolen vehicle in Wright County yesterday (Thursday).

Deputies saw the 1993 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan traveling east on County Road 35 towards St. Michael.

As they tried to stop the Cadillac the driver took off and a short chase began. Deputies were able to stop at the intersection of Kalberg Court and Kahlen Avenue in St. Michael.

The driver 25-year-old Adam Switala, of Monticello, was arrested for fleeing police, receiving stolen property, 5th degree controlled substance and driving after revocation.

21-year-old Ashley Garvey, of Coon Rapids, was arrested for receiving stolen property and 5th degree controlled substance.

32-year-old Andrea Aviles, of Big Lake, was arrested for receiving stolen property, and possession of hypodermic needles and 24-year-old Kyle Leseman, of Elk River was arrested for possession of stolen property, 5th degree controlled substance and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.

The Cadillac was reported stolen on Wednesday.
