Former U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger to Speak at SJU

COLLEGEVILLE - Former Republican U.S. Senator Dave Durenberger will be speaking at Saint John's on Monday night.

Durenberger spent 17 years representing Minnesota on the floor of the U.S. Senate. He was also the only Republican senator from Minnesota elected to three terms in office.

Durenberger was a 1955 graduate of Saint John's and will present the eighth annual Eugene J. McCarthy lecture at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

The event will be at the Stephen Humphrey Theater at Saint John's University. Admission is free, but tickets are needed to get in.
