Foley Decides on New City Administrator [AUDIO]

FOLEY -- The search for a new city administrator in Foley is coming to a close.

Contract negotiations have begun with Robert Barbian to offer him the position.

Interim City Administrator Bruce Watkins says they hope to have a contract ready for approval by Tuesday's council meeting.

Barbian was the Director of Development for the city of New Richmond.

The council interviewed Barbian and Diane Miller for the position earlier this week.

Watkins says if the council votes to approve the contract, Barbian would start within a few weeks.

The position became available after former City Administrator Sarah Brunn stepped down in April.
