WAITE PARK -- The 2014 Boys & Girls Club of Central Minnesota Fine Arts Exhibit is underway at the Crossroads Shopping Center Food Court in Waite Park.

The exhibit displays the artwork of about 120 club members from the St. Cloud area.

The youth submitted work in their age division in areas that include monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, watercolor, pastel, oil and acrylic and mixed media and collage.

Tom Wicks is the director of operations at the Boys and Girls Club. He says there were hundreds of art submissions.

The competition is part of Boys and Girls Clubs of America's National Fine Arts Exhibit program.

The top artists will be announced at a ribbon cutting ceremony tomorrow (Thursday). The winners will then advance to the regional art competition in February. The artwork will be on display through Friday.
