Shoppers at the Crossroads Shopping Center may notice a few more police officers this week. Waite Park Police Chief Dave Bentrud says, even though there's no specific threat to the local mall, they do want to be proactive.

Work on the new intersection by Crossroads Shopping Center and Best Buy in St. Cloud will cause a lane closure starting tomorrow. The westbound right-turn lane on Division Street west of the mall entrance will be closed to street and utility construction in the area.

Work is beginning on the intersection of Division Street and 41st Avenue also known as the Best Buy intersection. Street and utility work is prompting the closure of the eastbound right-turn lane on Division Street which is the east entrance to Best Buy.
