UNDATED -- This is the peak season for high school seniors and their parents for filling-out financial aid forms for college.

Eric Berg is the Vice President For Enrollment at the College of St. Scholastica.  He says you shouldn't just focus on the cost for the freshman year, but rather the total cost to get a degree.

Berg also suggests you ask your college about any additional fees, that might not be included in the cost of tuition.

And he says you should be actively looking for scholarships throughout your college career.
