Enter The Photo Contest At Munsinger Clemens Gardens

ST. CLOUD - There are probably thousands of pictures taken at Munsinger Clemens Gardens every year.  Now, for the first time, one of your snapshots could make you a winner.  The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society is sponsoring a season long photo contest.

Pictures will be judged in two categories: Landscapes and Hardscapes.  Entries must be mailed or delivered to the Lake George Municipal Complex by September 15th.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be chosen in each category.  $100 to the 1st place adult winner, $50 to the 1st place youth winner.  2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a framed award.  Winners will be announced on September 18th.

Photo tips:
-- Usually, morning or late afternoon light is best.  Avoid shooting between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
-- Look for repetition of shapes, reflections, lovely designs
-- Get close to your view
-- Look for clean backgrounds.
