Elaine C. Luckman, 89, St. Cloud

September 13, 1925 - December 17, 2014

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00AM Monday, December 22, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Elaine C. Luckman, 89, of St. Cloud who died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in St. Paul. Rev. Thomas Knoblach will officiate and private burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery at a later date. Friends and relatives may call one hour prior to the services on Monday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud.

Elaine was born September 13, 1925 in Rochester, Minnesota to Martin and Katherine (Kruszynski) Lindusky. She married Lloyd Luckman on July 7, 1945 in St. Paul. The couple made their home in Roseville until 1969 when they moved to St. Cloud. Elaine was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was also a member of many groups throughout the community; St. Stephen’s Mission Group, St. Cloud Country Club, City Greeter through Chamber of Commerce, Reading Room, and RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Elaine enjoyed playing Bridge and spending time with her family and friends. Her family and grandchildren were very important to her. She had a contagious laugh and her calendar was never empty.

Elaine is survived by her children, Susan Murray of Stillwater, Scott ”Scooter” Luckman of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Molly Murray, Nellie Murray, Brandon Luckman, and Devin Luckman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 65 years, Lloyd; brother, Rev. Eugene Lindusky; son-in-law, James Murray.
