Daniel A Hulett, 74, St. Cloud

September 29, 1940 - January 21, 2015

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church in Ham Lake for Daniel A. Hulett, age 74, of St. Cloud who passed away Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Pastor Jason Neel will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday in Ham Lake.

Dan was born on September 29, 1940 to Selmer and Viola (Lambert) Hulett in Taylor, WI. He married the love of his life Joan Malland. Years later, the couple was blessed with the birth of their son, Adam; whom they were so thankful to care for. Dan earned his Master’s Degree in Accounting and taught for 20 years at Anoka Ramsey Community College before retiring in 1999. After retirement, Dan took a part time job driving school buses which he greatly enjoyed. Dan loved cars, he had a red corvette that was only out in the summer months that he meticulously polished and cleaned. He also enjoyed sports, especially Timberwolves Basketball which he had season tickets for many years. Dan was also very active in his church attending every week, participating in the bell choir. He was a very generous and kind man with a big heart.

Dan is survived by his son, Adam (Paula) Hulett of Jacksonville, FL; and brother, Duane “Duke”(Sue) Hulett, nephew and niece, Jeff (Katie) Hulett, Jennifer (John) Haws, sisters-in-law, Jean Bogart and Jane Malland. He is preceded in death by his parents; and beloved wife, Joan who passed away in 1998.
