Country Music Legend Highlights Paramount Theatre’s Annual Fundraiser

ST. CLOUD -- Country music will be rocking the Paramount Theatre stage tomorrow with the musical event Autumn Moon: A Night in Nashville.

Wynonna Judd and her Band the Big Noise will be performing as part of the Paramount's annual fundraiser.

Paramount Theatre Executive Director Bob Johnson says they took a risk this year and it's paid off with a sold out show.

"We need a name that someone would recognized and we were just talking to people and thought if we all worked together Wynonna might come to Minnesota," says Johnson.

Johnson says this is their biggest fundraiser of year, with all the proceeds going back into their multiple programs.

"It's expensive to produce things ore put art or entertainment on the stage so it's important that we have these other options. And that's where much of our contributions go to our programs to extend beyond the average state show," says Johnson.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. for a pre-show reception including complimentary appetizers, cash bar, and artist demonstrations with Wynonna taking the stage at 8:00 p.m.
