Council Votes $100,000 in Improvements to Pinecone Central Park

SARTELL -- The Sartell City Council approved three additions to the Pinecone Central Park and Athletic Complex Monday night.

The board approved a measure that allows up to $83,000 to spent on preferred surface finish upgrades by using Regional Park Funds. The city will also be purchasing benches, trees and refuse containers at a cost of $10,500. This portion will be paid by using budgeted Park Funds.

In addition, the board voted to approve a purchase of up to $7,000 for picnic tables through the use of Beautification Funds already available in the 2013 budget allocation.
