ST. CLOUD -- The classic tale of the spider that spins words in her web to save  "some pig" named Wilbur takes center stage at the Paramount Theater tonight (Friday).

The characters from E.B. White's novel Charlotte's Web come alive on stage through song and dance.

Director, Jon Legg says the play holds true to the book's original version.

The youngest cast member is five years old. For many of the actors this will be their first time performing on stage.

Legg says there's a lot of talent in this play especially from the two leads Maddie Peterson who plays Charlotte and Mark Budde who plays Wilbur. He says the whole cast has come a long way.

The audience will experience Charlotte's Web like never before when they see Charlotte spin her web for the first time.

The play is put on by Great Theatre and runs tonight through March 10th.
