CENTRAL MINNESOTA CAMPS FOR KIDS: PART 11: ZOO CAMPS

I was going to end my series on camps for kids yesterday, but how could I leave out this one! Kids zoo camps with Hemker Park & Zoo!

ZOO CAMP

Ages 5-8 are in the morning session (9:30-11:30)
Ages 9-12 are in the afternoon session (1:30-3:30).
Each day your child will discover different animals found throughout the world and discuss their habitat, diet, conservation and enjoy lots of hands on activities.

This years camps include the following topics:

• Zoo Safari Camp

REGISTRATION

Zoo Camp fee is $118.00 + tax/weekly session, which includes Zoo Camp T-Shirts, Daily Snack and Beverage.

THE PURPOSE OF HEMKER PARK AND ZOO CAMPS

Hemker Park & Zoo camps focuses on expanding each child’s appreciation for the natural world while working with a professional educator and zookeepers, going behind-the-scenes and meeting animals up close and personal!

Students in our zoo camp will get an experience they will not forget. During the week long session they will be covering animals found throughout the world and understand why each animal lives in that habitat. Each day we will cover different animals found throughout the world and discuss their habitat, diet, conservation, and have lots of hands on activities.

EXTENDED CARE FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

Extended Care: For your convenience we offer extended care for our summer camps; Morning Session aftercare is from: 11:30am-12:30pm and Afternoon Session Aftercare is from 3:30pm-4:30pm. Children are supervised with various activities available.
