Minnesota Timberwolves

Finally, forward Robert Covington , who has not played since December 31st due to a bone bruise in his right knee, will not play again this year. Covington was working toward a post-All Star break return before re-aggravating the injury.

The Timberwolves lost 117-107 at Target Center against the Golden State Warriors Tuesday night. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves with 26 points and 21 rebounds, Andrew Wiggins had 20 points and Josh Okogie added 19.

The Timberwolves lost 120-100 at Utah against the Jazz Thursday night. The Wolves trailed by 9 at the end of the 1st quarter and by 9 at halftime. Karl-Anthony Towns led Minnesota with 26 points and 12 rebounds and Andrew Wiggins added 14 points.

The Timberwolves were led by Karl-Anthony Towns' 30 points and ten rebounds, while Denver was paced by Jamal Murray's 30.

The Timberwolves have now won back-to-back games, but still trail the Los Angeles Clippers by six games for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Minnesota will play at Denver Tuesday night.
