Budding Artists Creating Works Of Art at Paint N Parties [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - A new weekly event in downtown St. Cloud combines art, cocktails, and appetizers.  It's called a Paint N Party and it's held every Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Brother's Bar and Grill.

Charlene Ridlon owns "Art As You Like It" in Waite Park and is the class instructor.  She says the idea is to introduce you to canvas painting in a fun atmosphere.

The painting for each week is pre-determined by Ridlon, so all of the students are making the same artwork.  Dionne Rowles took the class last (Tuesday) night.  She says she was a novice going into it.

The cost for the class is $40 a person, which includes all of the supplies, two cocktails, and a shared appetizer.
