Breweries Sampling Wide Variety Of Craft Beers At River’s Edge [AUDIO]

ST. CLOUD - Beer lovers - the River's Edge Convention Center in downtown St. Cloud is the place to be this Saturday.

The St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour is featuring over 140 different beers, from 43 breweries.

Spokesman Christian Medford says a lot of the beer is brewed right here in Minnesota.

Medford says brewers from Alaska, Hawaii, and Colorado are also going to be at the Craft Beer Tour.

He says they're bringing a wide selection of beers.

Medford says when you walk in you'll receive a program that explains the types of beer available.  He says you'll also get a two-ounce mug for unlimited sampling.

VIP sampling runs from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., with General Admission from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.

VIP tickets are $35 at Westside Liquor, and $40 online.  General Admission tickets are $25 at Westside Liquor and $30 online.

DD Experience tickets are $5 at Westside and $10 online.  Medford says the folks from MYride will be there offering rides home.  He says there will also be plenty of cabs parked outside of the Convention Center.

Several St. Cloud bars and restaurants are also offering special craft beer sampling both before and after the Craft Beer Tour.
