Bicyclist Hit By Car, Killed in Mankato

MANKATO, Minn. (AP) - A 46-year-old bicyclist has died after he was struck by a car in Mankato.

Police say David Winters was hit early this morning (Wednesday).

Reports say that emergency crews arrived to find Winters was not breathing. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Winters entered an intersection on Fourth Street when he was hit by a car. The 21-year-old driver was not injured.
