BELGRADE - A woodworking company in western Stearns County has received a quarter-million grant to help train it's employees.  The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development has awarded the $250,000 grant to Bayer Built Woodworks of Belgrade.

The money will be used to train 222 workers, including: spray operators, finishing technicians, information technology staff, and sales and marketing staff.  They'll be trained with the help of the Dakota County Technical College.

Bayer Built Woodworks was founded by the Bayer family in 1983 and currently has about 250 employees.
