ST. PAUL  (AP) -- Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann has kept up the torrid fundraising pace she had last year by raising $2.2 million in the first three months of 2011.

The Republican lawmaker hasn't decided what office she'll seek  in 2012, but she's making noise about a possible run for president. But her congressional campaign committee took in $1.7 million between January and March, her chief of staff Andy Parrish said Friday.

Another $500,000 came into a political action committee Bachmann uses to aid other GOP candidates.

Some of the money she's raising now could help finance a presidential campaign. Bachmann won her third term in 2010 after raising more than $13 million for the race, the most of any congressional candidate in the country.
