FOLEY -- Benton County's new top prosecutor is well into his 100-day plan to get to know staff and lead the County Attorney's Office.

Philip Miller replaced former Benton County Attorney Robert Raupp after Raupp was named to a Benton County judgeship.

Miller started after Labor Day weekend and says since then he's been listening and learning from his staff. Miller says his office is competent and dedicated, leaving him to pursue some initiatives like helping veterans who run afoul of the law...

Miller says veterans face some very unique problems that separate them from other people who break the law.

He says he's seen drug courts make a difference when he was with Lake of the Woods County and Koochiching County and would like to develop similar resources in Benton County.
