ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The Catholic Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis says it's relocating its headquarters to the former 3M Co. corporate office in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood.

Reports say Rev. Charles Lachowitzer announced the move in an email to staff Monday. He says he expects the 75,000-square-foot building to be the new home of the archdiocese for at least the next 10 years.

The move, which Lachowitzer says should be complete by fall, requires the approval of a bankruptcy court.

The archdiocese sold part of its headquarters near the Cathedral of St. Paul to the Minnesota Historical Society in November.

It continues seeking to sell three other buildings nearby as part of a bankruptcy filing in the aftermath financial claims by victims of clergy sexual abuse.
