NEW YORK MILLS  (AP) - The Minnesota-based Great American Think-Off is posing a familiar question for its 20th annual debate.

This year's question is: "The Nature of Humankind: Inherently Good or Inherently Evil?"

That's the same question the Great American Think-Off posed in its first year. And it's the only time in Think-Off history that the question resulted in a draw.

Organizers say they decided to revisit the question this year to get a clearer answer.

The annual people's philosophy contest is open to anyone at no cost. Entrants must submit a 750-word essay by April 1. The four finalists will be invited to participate in a debate before an audience in New York Mills on June 9.

The audience will choose the winner.
