WWII Veterans Making Trip to National Memorial
ST. CLOUD - One-hundred World War II veterans are leaving Central Minnesota for Washington, D.C. tomorrow (Tuesday).
They're part of the Honor Flight, a one-day trip to visit the Wold War II Memorial and other historic sites. They'll be accompanied by 53 guardians who will assist them.
The Honor Flight Network is a national non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. The trip is also made possible with the help of St. Cloud-based Freedom Flight, and Coborn's Incorporated.
