UPDATE: Clearwater Man Struck by Off-Duty Wright County Deputy

WRIGHT COUNTY - The State Patrol has released the name of the man who was struck by an off-duty deputy this (Tuesday) morning in Wright County.

Forty-eight-year-old Jason Reever of Clearwater was running on County Road 75 when he was side-swiped by the squad car. Reever was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, and is listed in good condition.

The deputy, 31-year-old Nicholas Eldred of Clearwater, was not hurt.

The incident happened just after 6:00 a.m. on County Road 75, east of Highway 24.
