Woman Dies In Fridley Apartment Fire
FRIDLEY, Minn. (AP) - An apartment fire in Fridley has left a 24-year-old woman dead.
The medical examiner identified her Sunday as Jacarra King.
She died at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Fire officials say investigators determined that the fire was an accident from a cooking stove that was left unattended in the woman's third-floor unit.
The fire broke out about 6 a.m. Saturday.
Two Fridley police officers who tried to rescue her were treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation and were later released.
