Woman Communicates With Animals, Shares Skill With Minnesotans [AUDIO]

With the exception of Mr Ed, horses don't talk.

However, one woman disagrees.

Joyce Leake has made a career of teaching people how to communicate with their horses and other pets, and she'll be bringing her workshop to Spirit Horse Center in Brainerd this weekend.

Leake says that just because animals don't use language the way we do, doesn't mean they aren't communicating.

Leake's presentation is hosted by the Spirit of the Horse Winter Gala, a free event tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m. at the Spirit Horse Center of Brainerd.
