The Memphis Grizzlies beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 137-121 Wednesday night at FedEx Forum. The Wolves fall to 4-3 on the season with the loss.

The Grizzlies, who entered the game with a 1-5 record, shot over 50% from the three-point arc and 56.8% overall on their way to the win. Minnesota shot just 44.8% overall.

Memphis jumped out to a 16 point advantage in the first half, but the Wolves were able to chip their way back to tie the game late in the second quarter. However, the Grizzlies re-took an eight point lead at halftime.

Timberwolves forward Karl-Anthony Towns returned from a two game suspension to score 25 points and pull down 13 rebounds, but shot just 3-11 from beyond the arc. Andrew Wiggins led Minnesota with 30 points.

The Timberwolves will look to snap their two-game losing skid when they host the Golden State Warriors Friday night at Target Center. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. on AM 1390, Granite City Sports.
