Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was named as a starter for the Western Conference in the upcoming NBA All Star game. Love is the first Minnesota player to start the game since Kevin Garnett in 2007.

Love is currently fourth in the league in scoring, averaging 25 points per game. The fourth-year forward has also averaged 13 rebounds per game to go along with 4.1 assists.

The Timberwolves are at Golden State Friday night (10 PM, WJON).
