(VOTE) Minnesota's Flavor Contest is Back for the State Fair

I always like trying new things. And when it's involving ice cream, I'm definitely in!

The taste test contest happened the last time two years ago. It used to be a "thing" before the pandemic slowed and actually stopped so many things. So, now, this is back in full swing. It's hosted by the Midwest Dairy Association and there are three different flavors to vote on.

Chocolate Cookie Crumble: Chocolate cookie crumbles sit atop rich creamy chocolate ice cream or malt and drizzled with chocolate syrup.
Cinn-a-Minn Latte: Creamy vanilla ice cream or malt topped with cinnamon and espresso powder.
Key Lime Crumble: Rich vanilla ice cream or malt topped with lime syrup and graham cracker crumbles

I'll be honest with you, they all sound pretty darn good! I'm not a huge Key Lime person, but I'd give it a go. The voting is open through the 15th of April- EASTER weekend.

Last year, there was a winner. But it was just voted on by the staff with the Midwest Dairy Association. The winner was "You Betcha Berry".

As far as actually tasting it...it seems like you have to go with what you THINK would be the best flavor. Unless I'm missing where you would go to actually taste the ice cream. That's a little disappointing, but at least you can make an educated guess on what sounds the best.
