CHICAGO - The Minnesota Vikings let a six point lead get away at the last minute, and lost to the Chicago Bears 31-30.

The Vikings started off on a high note again, as rookie Cordarrelle Patterson took the opening kickoff 105 yards for a touchdown.

Both teams would go back and forth with several turnovers in the game. Brian Robinson returned a fumble 61 yards for a defensive touchdown in the second quarter.

 

The Vikings had a six point lead with a few minutes left to go in the game.

The Bears would drive down the field, and Jay Cutler connected with Martellus Bennett to give the bears a 31-30 lead with ten seconds to go.

Christian Ponder finished 16-30 for 227 yards with a touchdown and interception.

Adrian Peterson finished with 26 carries for 100 yards. Greg Jennings had five catches for 84 yards this afternoon.

The Vikings are now 0-2 to start off the season, The Bears are 2-0 after the victory.

The Vikings haven't won at Soldier Field since 2007. They will take on the Cleveland Browns next Sunday at noon for their home opener.
