Vikings’ Harvin Placed On IR; Out for the Year
Viking receiver Percy Harvin is out for the season after being placed on injured reserve with a severely sprained ankle. It was reported earlier this week that Harvin has a torn ligament in his left ankle. Harvin hurt the ankle when the Vikings lost at Seattle on November 4.
Harvin has missed the last 3 games and will miss the remaining 4 games this season. Harvin has 62 catches for 677 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's also run for 96 yards and 1 touchdown this season. Rookie Jarius Wright is expected to see time as the slot receiver for the Vikings going forward.
