MORRISON COUNTY -- A three-year-old boy who was pulled out of a Morrison County lake on Saturday is recovering.

The boy was airlifted to a Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis after being rescued from Lake Alexander.

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened shortly after 4:30 p.m. Officers received a call about a three-year-old who had been pulled out of Lake Alexander.

When deputies arrived, first responders were giving the boy CPR.

Family and friends were playing on a water trampoline when the boy went missing. Family found him underneath the trampoline and started CPR.

Deputies say the child was wearing a life jacket during the incident and is expected to make a full recovery. He was released from the hospital earlier today (Monday.)
