University Union Closed While Suspicious Package X-Rayed

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities called the bomb squad to the University of Minnesota because of a suspicious looking package.

Coffman Memorial Union was closed early Monday as a precaution while officials investigated.

The Minneapolis fire chief says the package was a tent bag was X-rayed and showed no safety concerns.
