Two Hurt in Rollover Near Freeport

FREEPORT -- Two people were taken to the hospital after a rollover Friday morning.

The incident happened around 6:00 a.m. on I-94 near 1st Avenue North, east of Freeport.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 59-year-old Melanie Hanson, of Alexandria, was heading East on I-94 when the vehicle left their roadway, struck a cable barrier causing the vehicle to roll several times.

Hanson and her passenger, 22-year-old Samantha Hartman of Verndale, were taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
