RANDALL -- Two boys were found unresponsive near a Morrison County river over the weekend.

The incident happened just before 3:30 p.m. Sunday near Little Elk River, under the Highway 115 Bridge in Randall.

Sheriff Shawn Larsen says 14-year-old Cole Kjeldergaard, of Cushing, was found semi-responsive on the bank of the river, while 12-year-old Nicholas Angevine, of Randall, was found unresponsive under the bridge.

The boys were pulled to the road where they were tended by medical personnel.

Angevine was airlifted to HCMC and is listed in stable condition. Kjeldergaard was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital but was later released.
