Trivia players, sharpen those number 2 pencils!  The World Quizzing Championships is coming to Central Minnesota.

St. Cloud will be one of only 16 American testing sites this Saturday for a global competition to find the World Quiz Champion. And you can test your trivial knowledge for free.

The World Quizzing Championships (WQC) test will be administered in St. Cloud this Saturday, June 4th at the St. Cloud Public Library. St. Cloud is the only testing site in Minnesota for the Quiz.

The WQC is a worldwide trivia quiz given to people around the world on the same day.  You'll answer 240 questions -- all global in nature -- on a wide range of topics.  And at the end of the day, a World Quiz Champion will be crowned.

The test will be offered in the Bremer Community Room (Room 104) of the St. Cloud Public Library. The doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the test starts promptly at 11 a.m.

The test is free and takes about three hours to complete.

If you want to participate, reserve your spot by sending an e-mail to stcloudquiz@gmail.com. Space is limited to about 25 people.
