St. John's Football

The St. John's football team lost 41-38 Saturday in the NCAA Division III 3rd round to Susquehanna University of Pennsylvania in Collegeville. The game was tied at 17 at halftime and the River Hawks led by 7 going into the 4th quarter.

3rd ranked St. John's will host Susquehanna Saturday at noon in the 3rd round of the NCAA Division III football playoffs. The Johnnies are 11-0 while Susquehanna University is 10-1.

St. John's football defeated UW-La Crosse 24-13 Saturday in the 2nd round of NCAA Division III tournament. The Johnnies led at halftime 3-0 before scoring 14 3rd quarter points.

The St. John's football team is pursuing their 5th national championship is school history. The Johnnies are 10-0 and are the #1 overall seed in the NCAA Division III tournament. St. John's will host UW-La Crosse at noon today in Collegeville.

St. John's quarterback Aaron Syverson has been named the MIAC Offensive Player of the Year and head coach Gary Fasching has been the MIAC John Gagliardi Coach of the Year.
