Lewis announces mayoral run

There is a contested race for St. Cloud mayor this year, something that hasn't happened in 15 years. Dave Kleis has run unopposed each year he was up for election since he first won the job back in 2005.

For the first time in 15 years there is a contested race for St. Cloud Mayor. There are four men running for the job including Mark B. Sasse II.

Voting is open now for the August primary. St. Cloud residents are voting for mayor with four candidates in the race.

Four men have thrown their hat into the ring and want to be the next mayor of St. Cloud.

Four different St. Cloud entities need to make some changes to the look of their security cars.

More staff, additional maintenance, and a group dedicated to cleaning-up problem areas are all included in St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis' 2018 preliminary budget. During Monday night's city council meeting the mayor laid out his budget proposal.

As Stearns County commissioners consider their options for possibly raising more money for transportation projects, St. Cloud's mayor has given his opinion. Mayor Dave Kleis has sent a letter to the commissioners stating that he thinks the half-cent sales tax, if that's the option they choose, should be brought to the voters through a county-wide referendum for approval.

Governor Mark Dayton didn't include $6-million to upgrade George Friedrich Park in his bonding proposal.

St. Cloud mayor Dave Kleis is putting together the city's budget for next year, and he wants input from you. Kleis is hosting two budget input Town Hall meetings.
