St. Cloud Hospital

CentraCare has more than 100 positive COVID-19 patients this week. More than 80 of those are at St. Cloud hospital. These numbers are up slightly from last week where numbers were 97 within CentraCare and 70 at St. Cloud Hospital.

CentraCare is reporting 90-plus patients with COVID-19 throughout their facilities in Central Minnesota. CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON this week. He says more than 70 of those are at St. Cloud Hospital.

A 57-year-old woman faces a felony assault charge after allegedly attacking a hospital worker and security staff member.

COVID-19 positive cases at St. Cloud Hospital continue to rise. CentraCare spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON this week. He says 44 people are hospitalized with 18 of those in the ICU/Critical Care Unit. Of the 44 people hospitalized 42 of them are unvaccinated and all 18 in the ICU/Critical Care Unit are unvaccinated.

St. Cloud Hospital has been named one of the top hospitals in the state.

Covid-19 numbers are up within CentraCare and at St. Cloud Hospital this week. That according to CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris. Morris joined me on WJON this week. He says as of Wednesday they have approximately 30 positive Covid-19 patients within CentraCare facilities and 7 people in the ICU/Critical Care unit.

The magazine rated CentraCare – St. Cloud Hospital as number 45 in the nation and number two in Minnesota.

St. Cloud Police are investigating a shooting that sent a man to the hospital on Wednesday evening.

CentraCare's Dr. George Morris says all residents – even those who have been vaccinated – need to continue following all COVID-19 spread mitigation recommendations in coming months.

CentraCare Spokesman Dr. George Morris joined me on WJON Today. He says they haven't seen a surge of Covid-19 patients at St. Cloud Hospital and within CentraCare that may have been a reflection of holiday gatherings. He says this is a good sign but Covid-19 still exists in this community and is still spreading in this community.
