UNDATED - We have several reports of localized street flooding, downed trees, and power outages in the St. Cloud metro area this morning.

The National Weather Service is reporting a 63 mile per hour wind gust at the St. Cloud Regional Airport.  There are trees down at St. John's University, as well as several trees down in St. Joseph and Avon.  We also have had listener reports of downed trees in the Westwood area of St. Cloud, and some trees down across the street from the Benton County Fairgrounds.

St. Cloud police say they have received a number of calls of trees and power lines down, especially in North St. Cloud near 8th Street and 25th Avenue.  They remind you to stay away from power lines and call emergency personell.

The Stearns County Sheriff's Department is reporting that County Road 1 by Heims Mill is blocked because of a downed tree.  They also have several other reports of downed trees in the Sartell, St. Joseph and Avon area.

Tim LyonXcel Energy says they still have about 5,600 customers without power in the St. Cloud metro area, due to the storms that came through this (Tuesday) morning.  That's down from about 6,400 customers right after the storm.  A spokesman for Xcel Energy says they are working as fast as they can, but it could be the end of the day before most people have power restored once again.
