ST. PAUL (AP) - A St. Paul man is accused of shooting at his personal care aide, narrowly missing her two young children with her in her car.

Police say the Wendall Jackson shot out the back window of the car Saturday at a barbecue. A criminal complaint says a 5-year-old boy was cut by flying glass and a bullet whizzed by the head of his 7-year-old sister.

The 29-year-old woman says Jackson became angry when she and her children tried to leave his St. Paul residence. Jackson took out a handgun and shot at the car's tires and the back window.

Jackson says another man fired the shots. He's due in court Tuesday.
