ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud business park has been certified "shovel ready" by the state.

The Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development's Office of Business Development gave the "shovel ready' designation to the Airport Business Park.

It's 172 acres with streets, water, sewer and graded sites ready for construction.  It's already the home to the Donlin Company.

While making the designation, DEED officials said the St. Cloud Metropolitan area  is "within that magic circle" of about an hour from the Twin Cities.

The Office of Business Development is the lead office for retaining existing Minnesota Companies.
