ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud woman who has special needs has been working for the last several years to help others in need.

Pam Court has been collecting pop tops for the Ronald McDonald House. But, Court isn't your average collector of pop tops. The 55-year-old just recently delivered 70 ice cream pails full of pop tops to the McDonald's restaurant in St. Cloud. Her mom Lorraine says that amounts to quite a few of the aluminum tabs.  In fact, it amounts to about 392,000 tabs.

Pam Court was hit by a drunk driver when she was just three-years-old. She suffers from brain damage, dyslexia, is partially blind in one eye and uses crutches to help her walk.

Court says she has been helping the Ronald McDonald House for about the last five years.

Lorraine says as people get word that Pam saves the pop tops, they've started coming in from all over. Schools in Nevis and Hutchinson are collecting for Pam while others have come in from as far away as New York, Texas, Washington and even New Zealand.

Pam says she plans to keep collecting the pop tops and even plans a visit to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester with her mom this spring.
